Ecem Çalhan — Biography
Ecem Çalhan was born on 19 January 1996 in İzmir. After finishing Avni Akyol Fine Arts High School, she went on to the Acting Department of Süleyman Demirel University's Faculty of Fine Arts; alongside her acting training she studied Latin dance and voice, and has been writing song lyrics for five or six years.
She began her acting career in 2019 playing Kamer Mollaoğlu in the series Kuzey Yıldızı İlk Aşk, a role that brought her wide attention. She also spent a period in the cast of Evlilik Hakkında Her Şey before playing Cemre in Tozluyaka in 2022, a show she announced she was leaving at the end of that year.
She went on to play Miray in Yüz Yıllık Mucize in 2023 and Sıla in Bir Gece Masalı in 2024, and in 2025 she began playing Sezen opposite Ali Gözüşirin in the TRT 1 series Cennetin Çocukları.
