Ecem Erkek — Biography
Ecem Erkek was born on 24 June 1991 in Ankara, though her family is originally from Sivas. After finishing high school she turned to theatre, training in diction and drama in Ankara and eventually graduating from Ankara University's theatre department. She started out on stage in plays such as Amerikan Rüyası, Woyzeck and Romeo & Juliet.
She moved to television in 2017, playing Şirin in Star TV's Hayat Sırları, then joined the cast of Güldür Güldür Show and appeared in Hakan: Muhafız. In 2020 she won Best Actress in a Comedy at the 46th Golden Butterfly Awards. She has also recorded duets with Taksim Trio, made her film debut in 2021 with Sen Hiç Ateşböceği Gördün mü?, and played Füsun in the 2022-23 series Güzel Günler.
