Eylül Öztürk Özkan — Biography

Eylül Öztürk Özkan was born in Balıkesir on June 4, 1986. A graduate of the Department of Greek Language and Literature at Istanbul University's Faculty of Letters, she worked as a vocalist in several bands during her university years, gained experience as a presenter and flight attendant, and lent her voice to commercial jingles and radio spots.

In 2014 she took her first steps into acting with roles in the films Azem: Cin Karası, Tut Sözünü and Yusuf Yusuf. Around the same time, the videos she shared on social media quickly brought her wide recognition, and she became an internet personality known by the nickname Memeli Mestan.

She remains active with a large social media following, and made headlines in early 2026 after warning her followers about fraudulent accounts impersonating her identity.
