Yusuf Yusuf

Yusuf Yusuf is a 2014 Turkish comedy film written and directed by Ersoy Güler. Produced by Süreç Film and distributed by Warner Bros., it was released on December 26, 2014.

The story follows Yusuf, a man who has loved cars since childhood and dreamed of becoming a race driver, but instead earns his living as a minibus driver in Ankara. One day a passenger dressed as a priest boards his vehicle; the man turns out to be a militant, also named Yusuf, plotting to assassinate the Pope during his visit to the city. The two namesakes thus end up face to face inside a single minibus. Ali Sunal, Burak Satıbol and Oya Başar share the leading roles, with Sinem Öztürk also appearing; the film treats a tense assassination premise in a humorous tone.
