Fabio Traversa — Biography

Fabio Traversa was born on 17 November 1952 in Naples, Italy. He entered the film industry in the early 1980s and soon became a familiar face in Italian cinema.

Over the course of his career Traversa took on roles across both drama and comedy, making an early impression with films such as "Sciopèn" and "Via Paradiso" in the 1980s, alongside further roles in productions like "Atto di dolore" and "Magic Moments" during the same period. In the 1990s he reached a wide audience by appearing in the Fantozzi series, one of Italy's most beloved comedy franchises.

He continued working through the 2000s in films such as "It Can't Be All Our Fault" and "Ex", and maintained a presence in contemporary Italian cinema with the 2010 film "Clash of Civilization Over an Elevator in Piazza Vittorio". Alongside acting, Traversa has also worked as a screenwriter, building a long-running career in Italian film and television.
