Furkan Kalabalık — Biography

Furkan Kalabalık is a Turkish actor born in Kocaeli on April 24, 1993. He stepped into his career with television series in the second half of the 2010s, quickly finding a place for himself in large-cast productions.

He completed his acting training in the Theatre Department of the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory. The stage training he received at this school, one of Turkey's long-established conservatories, also formed the basis of his screen work.

He had his first on-screen experience with the 2017 series İstanbullu Gelin. Following this large-cast production, whose cast included names such as Aslı Enver, Fırat Tanış, Defne Samyeli, Ahsen Eroğlu, Berkay Hardal, Dilara Aksüyek, and Hayal Köseoğlu, he took a role in the 2018 series Dudullu Postası, working on this project alongside Aslı Bekiroğlu and Özgür Emre Yıldırım.

The same year he joined the cast of Çarpışma, broadcast on Show TV, playing the character Adem. Bringing him together with actors such as Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, Elçin Sangu, Alperen Duymaz, Melisa Aslı Pamuk, İsmail Demirci, Hakan Kurtaş, Sevtap Özaltun, Merve Çağıran, Rojda Demirer, and Buçe Buse Kahraman, the series became one of Kalabalık's best-known works.

Continuing his television work in subsequent years, the actor brought the character Bekir to life in the series Mahkum.
