Prisoner (Mahkum) (translated)

Mahkum is an action-drama series produced by MF Yapım for the NOW channel, adapted from the South Korean show Innocent Defendant. Its first episode aired on December 14, 2021, and the show ran for two seasons before wrapping up with episode 31 on October 29, 2022.

The plot centers on Fırat Bulut, a formerly successful prosecutor who wakes up in prison one morning with no memory of how he got there, blamed for the deaths of his wife and child, and forced to fight alone to prove his innocence. Later episodes bring back Barış Yesari, presumed dead, who resurfaces to build a criminal network run by his own twisted code of justice, prompting Fırat to work toward tearing it down.

Onur Tuna and İsmail Hacıoğlu lead the cast, joined by Melike İpek Yalova, Hayal Köseoğlu, and Seray Kaya. Uğraş Güneş wrote the screenplay, and different directors took charge of the two seasons.
