Gizem Güven — Biography

Gizem Güven (born 31 December 1993 in Istanbul) is a Turkish actress and social-media personality. She began working in front of the camera as a small child, appearing in a milk commercial at the age of three and going on to further advertising work and film dubbing. She studied industrial design at Beykent University.

Her first regular television job was the series Temiz Aile Temiz Gelecek, followed by roles in İki Arada (2002), where she played Özge, and Bayanlar Baylar (2002). Wider recognition came from Sihirli Annem, in which she played Ceren across five seasons between 2003 and 2011. She also played Leyla in Selena and later appeared in Yedikule Hayat Yokuşu (2014) and Ne Münasebet (2015), while lending her voice to the Turkish dubs of animated features such as Finding Nemo and Lilo & Stitch.

In an interview published in early 2026 she revealed that the role of Mihrimah Sultan in Muhteşem Yüzyıl had first been offered to her, a disclosure widely picked up by the Turkish press. She married the footballer Caner Turp; the couple divorced in 2022.
