Muhammed Cangören — Biography

Muhammed Cangören was born on July 1, 1951, in Maymana (Meymene), Afghanistan, and is an ethnic Afghan Turkmen actor who has worked in both theatre and screen productions. He began his career on stage before moving into film and television, appearing in productions such as Hiçbiryerde, Rıza, Saklı Yüzler, and Atçalı Kel Mehmet.

Cangören became widely known to Turkish audiences through his role in the long-running series Kurtlar Vadisi, and in early 2026 he reunited on screen with fellow cast member Sefa Zengin in a new NOW network production. As of July 2026, he continues to draw media attention for his role as “Don Çiçi” in the series Yeraltı.
