Nehir Erdoğan — Biography

Nehir Erdoğan was born on 16 June 1980 in İzmir. After Selma Yiğitalp Lisesi, she completed a business degree at Marmara University and then a graduate degree in radio, television and cinema at the same institution. Between 2001 and 2003 she presented culture and arts segments on TRT 1's Telepazar; in 2002-2003 she played Pelin in Koçum Benim, in 2003 Gümüş in Kanal D's Estağfurullah Yokuşu, and appeared that same year in the films Okul and Hababam Sınıfı Merhaba, while also hosting a film program on NTV and Pop Star on Show TV.

She reached a wide audience as Nazlı Baklavacıoğlu in Yabancı Damat (2004-2007), noted as the first Turkish series sold to Greek television, and went on to appear in Meleğin Sırları, Son, Reaksiyon, Fi, Benim Adım Melek and Sana Söz. She married director Ahmet Sesigürgil and separated from him in 2017; in 2026 she began playing Zehra in the series Altı Üstü İstanbul.
