Nihat İleri — Biography

Nihat İleri (born 1955, Samsun) is a Turkish theatre, film and television actor. After graduating from the theatre department of the Ankara State Conservatory, he worked at the Ankara State Theatre from 1977 to 1979 and then moved to the Istanbul State Theatre; between 1993 and 2000 he continued his stage career in Germany. On screen he drew attention with Fahriye Abla (1984) and went on to appear in films such as Maruf (2001), Büyü (2004), Cenneti Beklerken (2006), Yüreğine Sor (2010), Behzat Ç. Seni Kalbime Gömdüm (2011) and Rüzgarın Hatıraları (2015). On television he appeared in series including Binbir Gece (2007), and on stage he made an impact with his adaptation of Küçük Prens.
