Ballermann 6

Ballermann 6 is a 1997 German comedy directed by Tom Gerhardt and award-winning cinematographer Gernot Roll, from a screenplay by Gerhardt. Conceived as a sequel to Voll normaaal, which also starred Gerhardt and Hilmi Sözer, the film follows two carefree friends, Tommie and Mario, who — after a long spell of unemployment — take a job handing out gifts dressed as Easter bunnies. When an accident costs them that job too, they spend their remaining money on a holiday trip to the notorious Ballermann 6 beach spot on Mallorca, only for fresh misfortunes to follow them there.

Running about 95 minutes, the film features Hilmi Sözer as Mario, alongside performers such as Christoph M. Ohrt, Katja Flint and Uwe Ochsenknecht. It is regarded as a defining work of Ballermann culture and helped popularise the party practice known as 'Eimersaufen' among a wider audience.
