Being Light

Movie · 2001 · 1 people

Being Light is a French comedy film released in 2001. It was co-directed by Pascal Arnold and Jean-Marc Barr, with the pair also sharing screenwriting duties. Barr appears in front of the camera as well, taking an acting role alongside his work behind it.

The picture closes out the so-called "Freedom Trilogy" that the two filmmakers built in the spirit of the Dogme 95 manifesto, making it the third and final chapter of that series. The supporting ensemble includes performers such as Élodie Bouchez and Romain Duris. Running roughly 96 minutes, the film stands as another entry in the long creative partnership between Arnold and Barr, who handled both the writing and the directing of the production together.
