Rogue Brothers (Bitirim Kardeşler) (translated)

Bitirim Kardeşler is a 1973 Turkish adventure-comedy directed by Zeki Ökten and produced by Erler Film. Written by Fuat Özlüer and Erdoğan Tünaş, the film stars Kadir İnanır and Kartal Tibet in the leading roles.

The story follows two brothers who can never get along. Ali earns his living as a carriage driver while Veli works as a porter, and the two are constantly at odds. A scheme devised by their father finally reconciles them, and they decide to work together. Meanwhile, the men of an Arab mafia boss named Seyid Abdullah, sent off to carry out a drug deal, drop a suitcase near the brothers. Inside it is a note explaining how the money is to be handed over. Finding the note, Ali and Veli disguise themselves and set out to seize the money, a move that drags them into a string of adventures pitting them against the mafia.

Blending action with humor in the popular Yeşilçam tradition of its era, the film also features Meral Zeren, Hulusi Kentmen and Turgut Özatay among its ensemble.
