Black Belly of the Tarantula (Italian: La tarantola dal ventre nero) is a 1971 French-Italian giallo film directed by Paolo Cavara. After working on documentaries, Cavara made this feature, blending horror elements into a story headlined by Giancarlo Giannini, Barbara Bouchet and Barbara Bach, with Stefania Sandrelli and Giancarlo Prete also among the cast.

Inspired by Dario Argento's successful 1970 film L'uccello dalle piume di cristallo, the picture sustains the rhythm and suspense typical of the giallo through unforeseen situations and surprising twists. Noted for Marcello Gatto's cinematography and an Ennio Morricone score, the 99-minute film is regarded as a notable entry in the genre.
