Caroline Cherie

Caroline Cherie is a French historical comedy directed by Jean Devaivre, filmed in 1952 and released in 1953. Adapted from Jacques Laurent's 1950 novel of the same name, it serves as the sequel to the 1951 hit Darling Caroline. Written by Jean Anouilh, the film stars Martine Carol, Jacques Dacqmine and Marthe Mercadier, with Jacques Dufilho and Claire Maurier also in the cast. Shot at the Boulogne Studios in Paris, its sets were designed by art director Jacques Krauss. Produced by Gaumont with a runtime of 98 minutes, the film stands out as one of the first French productions to be shot in Technicolor.
