Naughty Girl (Cette sacrée gamine)

Movie · 1956 · 2 people

Cette sacrée gamine, also released as Mam'zelle Pigalle, is a 1956 French musical romantic comedy directed by Michel Boisrond from a screenplay he co-wrote with Roger Vadim. It marked Boisrond's debut as a director and was the thirteenth film of star Brigitte Bardot.

The story centres on the owner of a Paris nightclub who finds himself accused of dealing in counterfeit money. Forced to flee the country temporarily while the trouble blows over, he leaves his teenage daughter in the care of a trusted friend, the headline singer at his club. The arrangement sparks a string of comic misunderstandings and musical interludes. Darry Cowl and Michel Serrault also appear in the cast.
