Cocorico

Cocorico is a 2024 French comedy. Julien Hervé directed it and wrote the script. The colour film is in French and runs about 91 minutes. In Germany it opened on 21 March 2024 under the title Oh la la – Wer ahnt denn sowas?.

The story begins when Alice and François, who are about to marry, bring together two families from very different social backgrounds. The couple choose an unusual gift for the occasion: DNA tests that let everyone discover where their ancestors came from. The Bouvier-Sauvages, a large aristocratic family, and the far more modest Martins see the results, and the surprise does not go as planned; the gathering turns into a fiasco.

Christian Clavier plays Frédéric Bouvier-Sauvage. Marianne Denicourt plays Catherine Bouvier-Sauvage, Didier Bourdon plays Gérard Martin and Sylvie Testud plays Nicole Martin. The cast also includes Chloé Coulloud, Julien Pestel, Sophie Froissard, Johann Dionnet and Patrick Préjean.
