Codine is a 1963 Franco-Romanian crime drama directed by Henri Colpi. The film is adapted from the 1925 novel of the same name by Romanian writer Panait Istrati, with Yves Jamiaque contributing to the screenplay.

Alexandru Virgil Platon plays the title character, while the cast also features Françoise Brion as Irène alongside Răzvan Petrescu, Nelly Borgeaud and Maurice Sarfati, bringing together French and Romanian performers in keeping with the film's co-production status. The film's original language is French, and it premiered in Romania in September 1963.

Codine was selected for competition at the 1963 Cannes Film Festival, where it received the Best Screenplay award, earning the production international attention.
