Coming In

Coming In is a 2014 German romantic comedy directed by Marco Kreuzpaintner. Kostja Ullmann stars as Tom Herzner, a gay celebrity hairdresser who takes a job at a salon in Berlin-Neukölln for a field study and unexpectedly falls in love with its owner Heidi, played by Aylin Tezel.

The supporting cast includes Ken Duken, Katja Riemann, August Zirner, Denis Moschitto, Frederick Lau and Hanno Koffler. Filmed in Berlin in the autumn of 2013, the film was produced by Kreuzpaintner's Summerstorm Entertainment in co-production with Warner Bros. and premiered in German cinemas on 23 October 2014. Its subject matter polarized critics after release, and the film drew roughly 146,000 admissions in total.
