Don Juan

Don Juan is a 1998 French-language romantic comedy written and directed by Jacques Weber, who also plays the title role. Adapted from Molière's classic play Dom Juan, it marked Weber's feature directorial debut.

A co-production between France, Germany and Spain, the film co-stars Michel Boujenah, Penélope Cruz, Emmanuelle Béart, Ariadna Gil, Denis Lavant and Michael Lonsdale. The story follows the notorious seducer Don Juan, a man who scorns social and moral conventions as he pursues one conquest after another, until his recklessness finally catches up with him.
