Donkey Xote

This entry documents the Turkish-language dubbing of Donkey Xote, a 2007 Spanish–Italian animated feature — it covers the dub credit rather than the film's own production. Directed by José Pozo and produced by Filmax and Lumiq Studios, the film is a comedic parody loosely inspired by Miguel de Cervantes's Don Quixote, whose donkey character Rucio was deliberately styled to resemble Donkey from the Shrek franchise, earning the film a reputation as a "mockbuster."

The film opened in Turkish cinemas on 25 January 2008, with Deniz Çakır among the voice cast for the Turkish dub.
