Four Thugs (Dört Kabadayı) (translated)
Dört Kabadayı ("Four Tough Guys") is a 1970 Turkish feature film shot in the village of Işhan in Sivas province. Its story follows four men who come into conflict with the local village landlord (ağa). The picture was co-directed by Cevat Şahiner and Necati Aksel, with Aksel also serving as producer.
The four tough guys of the title are played by Kadir İnanır, Muzaffer Tema, Hayati Hamzaoğlu and Nihat Ziyalan. Set in rural Anatolia, the film builds its drama around resistance to the feudal landlord system of the era.
