Kite in My Dream (Düşümdeki Uçurtma)

Düşümdeki Uçurtma, released internationally as Kite in My Dream, is a Turkish feature written and directed by Gülsün Sarıoğlu. Eray İlkinönü and Gülsün Sarıoğlu produced it under the banner of 3 Adam experience & intelligence, with Yusuf Nazım as general coordinator, Serdar Aydoğdu as assistant director and Emre Karadaş as cinematographer. Adil Yanık and Buğra Dedeoğlu handled the editing, and the score was composed by Aynur Doğan, İbrahim Maalouf and Yasin Kayırtar.

This entry concerns the voice work carried out on the production rather than the film as a whole: the narration was performed by Bahtiyar Engin.

The film had its first screening on the evening of Monday 25 February 2013 at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall in Harbiye, Istanbul, and was shown again on 2 May 2013 at the Konak Municipality Türkan Saylan Cultural Centre. The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Şişli Municipality and the Turkish Muscular Diseases Association (KASDER) were among the bodies supporting the screenings. Its posters carry the line "hayaller, serbest bırakıldıkları ölçüde özgürdürler" - dreams are free to the extent that they are set free.
