Ein Geschenk der Götter

Ein Geschenk der Götter is a 2014 German dramedy directed and written by Oliver Haffner. Its story follows Anna, an out-of-work stage actress who reluctantly agrees to run a mandatory acting workshop for eight people who have been unemployed for a long time.

Despite early resistance to the compulsory program and the participants' initial isolation from one another, the frustrated group gradually bonds into a tight-knit circle.

The picture premiered on 28 July 2014 at the Munich Film Festival and opened generally in German cinemas on 9 October 2014. Adam Bousdoukos and Paul Fassnacht lead the cast, which also includes Katharina Marie Schubert, Eva Löbau and Rick Okon.
