Fedora

Fedora is a 1942 Italian drama film directed by Camillo Mastrocinque, who co-wrote the screenplay with Giorgio Pàstina. It is an adaptation of Victorien Sardou's 1882 play of the same name. Shot at the Cinecittà Studios in Rome, the film featured sets designed by art director Ottavio Scotti. Nuccio Fiorda adapted the music of Umberto Giordano's opera Fedora for the screen. Unusually for the era, costume designer Gino Carlo Sensani, then at the height of his career, was credited alone in the titles just before the director's name.

The film runs approximately 90 minutes and stars Luisa Ferida, Amedeo Nazzari and Osvaldo Valenti in the leading roles. The supporting cast includes Rina Morelli, Sandro Ruffini, Memo Benassi and Guido Celano.
