The Pigeon (Güvercin)

The Pigeon is a 2018 Turkish drama film written and directed by Banu Sıvacı. Her feature-length directorial debut, the film had its world premiere at the 2018 Berlin International Film Festival and travelled to other international venues afterwards. The cast includes Ruhi Sarı and Evren Erler. Shot in Turkish, the roughly 78-minute production belongs to the recent wave of independent Turkish drama. In some territories, such as Brazil, it reached audiences through later releases under localized titles.
