Ruhi Sarı — Biography

Born on 18 May 1972 in Trabzon, Ruhi Sarı graduated from the State Conservatory of Selçuk University's theatre department and took his first steps in the arts at Kartal Sanat Tiyatrosu. He crossed into cinema in 1995 as Rıfat in Sen de Gitme Triyandafilis, a role that brought him multiple awards.

Beyond playing a mob figure in Kabadayı and taking a role in Made İn Europe, he appeared in films such as Üçüncü Sayfa (The Third Page), Hiçbiryerde (In Nowhere Land) and Maruf; on the small screen he reached wide audiences through popular series including Neredesin Firuze (Where's Firuze?), Aşk Yakar and Yeditepe İstanbul, plus further credits in Sultan Makamı, Yarım Elma, Yedi Numara, Gişe Memuru, Pus, Moskova'nın Şifresi: Temel and Sümela'nın Şifresi: Temel.

He later became known for playing Sadullah in Kırgın Çiçekler, and stayed on screen with projects such as Gönül Dağı, Söz, Maviye Sürgün, Kusursuz Kiracı, Kulüp and Kırmızı Oda. He married art director Natali Yeres in 2004; the couple's son, whom they named Arte Gün, was born in 2010, and they divorced in 2018.
