Etiquette (Adab-ı Muaşeret) (translated)
Adab-ı Muaşeret (Etiquette) is a Turkish teen comedy directed by Emre Akay and written by Eser Yazıcı, released on May 15, 2009.
The story takes place at 29 February High School. Aykut is a teenager weary of constantly moving schools and cities because of his father, the math teacher Nurettin Bey; yet their latest move opens an unexpected new chapter in his life. At his new school, two rival student groups face off: the girls' gang known as "Adab-ı Muaşeret", led by Zeynep and devoted to rules and good manners, and the "Mokokolar", led by the rebellious student Eko. The longstanding feud between these crews fuels a series of comic clashes throughout the school year.
Nurettin Bey, who takes up his post determined to restore discipline to a school where students do as they please, faces difficult days; his greatest ally turns out to be literature teacher Fatma Hanım, nicknamed Miss Piggy. The cast includes Tarık Ündüz, Yıldız Asyalı, Bora Akkaş, Salih Kalyon and Hasibe Eren.
