Trouble on Wheels (Kara Bela)

Kara Bela (English title: Trouble on Wheels) is a 2015 Turkish comedy-adventure film written and directed by Burak Aksak. Produced by BKM Film and distributed by Mars Entertainment Group, the 100-minute film was released on September 18, 2015, with shooting taking place in Istanbul, Adana, and Gaziantep. Its public gala at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre, attended by around five thousand ticketed viewers, was described as a first in Turkish cinema history.

The story follows Kudret, a man who has always lived by other people's rules, whose orderly life is overturned by unexpected events. After taking a dream seriously, he jumps into his beloved car and sets off toward Antep, making new friends along the way; by the end of the hundreds-of-kilometres journey he discovers both the value of friendship and the joy of living without rules. The lead roles are shared by Cengiz Bozkurt, Seda Bakan, and Erkan Kolçak Köstendil, with Tarık Ünlüoğlu, Hasibe Eren, and Cihan Ercan among the supporting cast.
