Benian Dönmez — Biography

Benian Dönmez is a Turkish theatre, film and television actress born in 1965 in Ankara. She graduated from the Theatre Department of the Faculty of Language and History-Geography at Ankara University. For many years she performed on the stages of the Diyarbakır State Theatre, the İzmit Metropolitan Municipality City Theatre and the Ankara State Theatre, settling in Istanbul after retiring from the State Theatre.

She first stepped in front of the camera in 2005 and won the affection of wide audiences as Mübeccel in the series Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz (2015), broadcast on ATV. Following the films Kara Bela (2015) and Kardeşim Benim (2016), she acted in the series Aslan Ailem (2017), Afili Aşk (2019) and Sol Yanım (2020), and came to the fore again as Nezahat in Üç Kız Kardeş (2022). In 2025 the actress plays Nergis in the series Halef: Köklerin Çağrısı.
