Seda Akman — Biography

Aslı Seda Akman was born on 13 January 1978 in Kütahya. She studied diction and acting at Bilkent University. In 1998 she was chosen Miss Palmolive and placed fourth in the Miss Intercontinental contest; she also won the Best Fotomodel award in the Best Model of Turkey contest. In 1999 she settled in Istanbul and worked as a model, then as a presenter on Number One and Dream TV.

She began acting in 2003 with the series Yazı Tura and went on to appear in productions such as Emret Komutanım, Annem, Behzat Ç., Eve Düşen Yıldırım, Fatih, Gecenin Kraliçesi and Sen Benimsin. In 2017 she played Belgin in the series Bu Şehir Arkandan Gelecek; she then acted in the series Aşk ve Mavi, Kalp Atışı, Adı Zehra, Sol Yanım, Taçsız Prenses and Deha.

In 2025 Akman joined Show TV's series Rüya Gibi, and in 2026 she appeared before audiences as Ayten in the series Halef: Köklerin Çağrısı.
