Conqueror (Fatih) (translated)

Fatih is a 2013 Turkish historical drama series centered on the life of the Ottoman ruler Mehmed II. Produced by Medyapım for Kanal D and directed by Fatih Aksoy, it premiered on 30 September 2013 with considerable expectations behind it.

The production never found its audience. After the channel's management shifted it to a 22:00 slot, it lost the network's financial backing, and the producer chose to bring it to an end. The fifth episode, broadcast on 4 November 2013, became the last, and the show was pulled off the air because of its weak ratings, concluding after a single season.

Kenan İmirzalıoğlu led the ensemble as Mehmed the Conqueror, joined by performers such as Birkan Sokullu, Mehmet Akif Alakurt, Hande Soral, Salih Bademci, Müjde Uzman, Tamer Levent, Dağhan Külegeç, İbrahim Selim, Seda Akman and Türkan Kılıç.
