İbrahim Selim — Biography

İbrahim Selim was born on 5 October 1979 in Ankara. He studied at the Theatre Department of the Ankara State Conservatory at Hacettepe University.

He began his screen career in 2005 with the series Ne Seninle Ne Sensiz and went on to appear in series such as Zoraki Koca, Ters Yüz, Çıplak Gerçek, Fatih, Ulan İstanbul and Hayati ve Diğerleri. He acted in the films Sınav, Sis ve Gece, Canavarlar Sofrası, Kusursuzlar, Rüya and Ölümlü Dünya, and drew attention with the series Şahsiyet (2018) and Dünyayla Benim Aramda (2022). In 2016 his solo performance in Bunu Ben de Yaparım earned him the Most Successful Actor of the Year award at the 20th Afife Theatre Awards.

Also a voice actor and presenter, Selim became popular with his YouTube program STOLK and hosted the talk show İbrahim Selim ile Bu Gece on YouTube from 2018 to 2022 and on FOX in 2022–2023. In 2026 he married Ayşe Şeyma Keten in Rome and joined the cast of the series Ömür Usta as Halil İbrahim.
