Fog and Night (Sis ve Gece)

Fog and Night is a 2007 Turkish crime-adventure film directed by Turgut Yasalar, adapted from Ahmet Ümit's novel of the same name. Produced by Kara Film and scripted by Yasalar together with the novel's author Ümit, it opened in cinemas on February 23, 2007.

At the center of the story is Sedat, an intelligence agent who has made his profession the purpose of his life. Convinced that his beloved superior Yıldırım was killed by his own service, and sidelined amid infighting within the organization, Sedat plunges into a shadowy search through Istanbul's labyrinth when Mine, the young woman who restored his passion for life, vanishes mysteriously. Uğur Polat stars as Sedat and Selma Ergeç as Mine, with Oktay Kaynarca, Yetkin Dikinciler and İlyas Salman among the leading cast.
