Sinan Albayrak — Biography
Sinan Albayrak was born on 27 February 1973 in Hanau, Germany. He is the brother of journalist Hakan Albayrak and trained in acting at Hacettepe University.
He took his first role in the series Ferhunde Hanımlar in 1993 and became known through productions such as Her Şey Çok Güzel Olacak (1998), Kurtlar Vadisi (2003), Sis ve Gece (2007) and Eşrefpaşalılar (2010). In 2014 he played Sultan Veled in the film Yunus Emre: Aşkın Sesi and Mehmet Emir in the series O Hayat Benim; in 2017 he portrayed İbrahim in the TRT 1 series Yalaza.
After İyi Günde Kötü Günde (2020) and Kasaba Doktoru (2022), he played Zağanos Pasha in Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı between 2024 and 2026, leaving the series in May 2026 to join the Nizamülmülk project. Also noted for his humanitarian work, he took part in aid efforts at a refugee camp in Somalia in July 2026.
