The series portrays what families on the verge of breaking apart go through, centering on the institution of the family and the growing number of divorces in Turkey. The staff of a family desk dealing with divorce cases strive to keep crumbling households together. Nisa, the team's energetic member, tackles cases with unconventional methods, while marriage counselor Nazlı and legal consultant Yusuf bring a more measured and informed approach. As the story develops, the characters' own private lives also come to the fore, above all the turbulent relationship between Nazlı and Yusuf.
