İlker Kızmaz — Biography

İlker Kızmaz is a Turkish film and television actor born on September 9, 1975, in İzmir. After studying acting at Bahçeşehir University, he began his screen career in 2002 with the series Yeter Anne and Aslı ile Kerem. He became widely known in 2008 with the character Nihat Önal in Aşk-ı Memnu, a role that is still remembered in the tabloid press years later.

In cinema he appeared in the war film Nefes: Vatan Sağolsun (2009), Çanakkale 1915 (2012), Mahmut ile Meryem (2013) and the comedy Kaçma Birader (2016). On television he acted in productions such as Yedi Güzel Adam (2014), Benim Adım Gültepe (2014), Umuda Kelepçe Vurulmaz (2016), Payitaht Abdülhamid (2017) and Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu (2020); in 2020 he also made headlines for portraying Atatürk. Most recently, in 2024, he took on the character Sinan in the series Kalpazan.
