Tuvana Türkay — Biography

Actress and singer Tuvana Türkay came into the world in Istanbul's Üsküdar district on 3 October 1990; her maternal line is Crimean Tatar, tracing to Erzurum, Trabzon and Rize, her paternal side descends from Bulgarian immigrants, and she is the sister of actress Katre Türkay. She finished high school at İstanbul Güneş College, studied radio, television and film at university, first stood before a camera at nine for commercials, and later trained in acting, voice and diction.

She reached television audiences in 2009 as Kevok in the series Ayrılık, then played Bade Palalı in Yer Gök Aşk (2011-2012) and Bahar Çınar in Kara Para Aşk (2014-2015); in 2015 she took her first cinema lead opposite Atalay Demirci in Güvercin Uçuverdi and appeared in Deli Gönül, Bir Nefes Yeter and Sen Sağ Ben Selamet; she played Kumru on Kızlarım İçin and, later, other characters in Emanet, Karanlıktan Kaçış, Ağır Romantik and Kağıt Ev. A musician too, she wrote and performed "Ara Ne Olursun" (2015), covered "Tuana" as arranged by Mustafa Ceceli, and released the singles "Geceler", "Ah Aşk" and "Yalan De"; in 2020 she published a book, İkimiz de Beni Seviyoruz. She dated footballer Sercan Yıldırım in 2012-2013, and drew attention in early 2026 for diving into the sea to rescue her dog.
