Black Money Love (Kara Para Aşk) (translated)

Kara Para Aşk (Black Money Love) is a Turkish television series blending action, crime, and drama that premiered on ATV on March 12, 2014. Produced by Ay Yapım with Kerem Çatay as producer, the series was directed by Ahmet Katıksız and written by Eylem Canpolat and Sema Ergenekon. It ran for two seasons and 54 long episodes of roughly 130 minutes each, concluding on July 15, 2015, and was re-edited into 164 shorter 45-minute episodes for international markets.

Starring Tuba Büyüküstün, Engin Akyürek, and Erkan Can, the story brings together police commissioner Ömer and jewelry designer Elif after Ömer's fiancée Sibel and Elif's father are found shot dead together in a car. As Ömer hunts the killer, Elif discovers her father's hidden, darker life. In the second season Nebahat Çehre and Tuvana Türkay departed while Öykü Karayel joined the cast. The series earned high ratings and was sold to many countries.
