Bold Pilot (Bizim İçin Şampiyon)

Bizim İçin Şampiyon (Bold Pilot) is a 2018 Turkish biographical drama directed by Ahmet Katıksız, who co-wrote the screenplay with Serkan Yörük. Produced by Med Yapım, Ay Yapım and CJ ENM Turkey, the film recounts the true story of the celebrated racehorse Bold Pilot and his jockey Halis Karataş.

Ekin Koç stars as Karataş, with Farah Zeynep Abdullah playing Begüm Atman; the cast also includes Fikret Kuşkan, Melis Sezen, Sibel Taşçıoğlu and Ali Seçkiner Alıcı, while the real Halis Karataş appears in a guest role. On screen, Bold Pilot is portrayed by Ganesh, the actual horse's own son. Filming centered on the Veliefendi Hippodrome in Bakırköy, with additional scenes shot in Adapazarı, Bursa and Konya.
