Öykü Karayel — Biography
Öykü Karayel was born on August 20, 1990, in Istanbul and trained at the Theatre Department of Istanbul University's State Conservatory.
She rose to prominence playing Cemre in the 2011 series Kuzey Güney, then appeared in Kara Para Aşk and Muhteşem Yüzyıl Kösem before starring in the film Bulantı. She played Eylül in the series Kalp Atışı, which began in 2017, and appeared in the film Put Şeylere. She also played Meryem in Bir Başkadır, the Netflix series released internationally as Ethos, and continued her film career with the 2024 movie Evcilik.
Married to singer Can Bonomo, Karayel traveled to Ireland in the summer of 2026 to film the third season of the international series "Kin," and is also drawing attention for the upcoming Prime Video film "Son Yemek," directed by Özcan Deniz, in which she stars.
