Şenay Gürler — Biography

Şenay Gürler, born on 26 November 1966 in İzmir, is a Turkish theatre, film and television actress. A graduate of the Cinema Department of Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Fine Arts, she worked as a presenter at TRT and acted at the İzmir Art Theatre while still a student, and later did dubbing work. Her first screen role was in Kaygısızlar (1994); she became widely known as Fatoş in Avrupa Yakası (2004) and appeared in popular series such as Acemi Cadı (2006) and Küçük Sırlar (2010). Her performance in the film Korkuyorum Anne (2004) earned her the SİYAD Best Supporting Actress award. In recent years she has stayed on screen with the series Şahsiyet (2018) and Kalp Yarası (2021) and the role of Meral in the "10 Days" film series; in 2025 she played Yeliz Aksel in Aşk ve Gözyaşı, and in 2026 she returned to the stage with the one-woman play Bu Hikâye Senden Uzun Osman.
