Haluk Bilginer — Biography

Haluk Bilginer was born in 1964 in İzmir.

He completed his education at the Theatre Department of the Ankara State Conservatory.

After completing his education, he went to England and studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

During his time in England, he became known by appearing in 250 episodes of the series EastEnders and took part in many series and theatre plays.

The master actor Haluk Bilginer, who later returned to Turkey and took a role in the series Gecenin Öteki Yüzü in 1987, founded Tiyatro Stüdyo in 1980 together with Zuhal Olcay and İsmet Levendoğlu, and in 1999 founded Oyun Atölyesi together with his former wife Zuhal Olcay.

Haluk Bilginer, who has won many awards, has also taken part in many projects such as Kaçak, Ezel, Masum, Eyvah Kızım Büyüdü, Tatlı Hayat, İstanbul'un Altınları, Hayatımın Rolü and Kaçak.

He is part of the cast of the series Kara Yazı, broadcast on Kanal D, in which he shares the lead with Ushan Çakır, Zeynep Çamcı and Emre Kınay, and he plays the character Oğuz.

Haluk Bilginer has made a name for himself with the success he has shown in the world of cinema by taking roles in films such as Çanakkale Çocukları, Kırık Kalpler Bankası, New York'ta Beş Minare, 7 Kocalı Hürmüz, Zoraki Radikal, The Ottoman Lieutenant and Rosewater.
