Cingoz Recai (Cingöz Recai: Bir Efsanenin Dönüşü)

Cingoz Recai is a 2017 Turkish action-crime film directed by Onur Ünlü, with a screenplay by Kerem Deren and Pınar Bulut. It marks the third big-screen adaptation of the celebrated character created by novelist Peyami Safa, and it premiered in Turkish cinemas on 13 October 2017.

The story centers on a kind-hearted master thief who comes out of retirement for one more job. This time he does not work with his own crew; instead he infiltrates a shadowy criminal gang. While he appears to be plotting the burglary of a technology genius's mansion, he shifts from one disguise and scheme to another, quietly closing in on a true target that nobody suspects. The path also brings him face to face with Ghost, a man he has hunted for years and holds a personal grudge against, while his old nemesis, Chief Inspector Mehmet Rıza, stays hot on his trail.

Kenan İmirzalıoğlu stars in the title role, joined by Haluk Bilginer, Meryem Uzerli and Serkan Keskin. The film was produced by Limon Yapım.
