Öner Erkan — Biography
Öner Erkan is a Turkish actor, born on 4 January 1980 in İzmir.
He took his first step onto the stage through acting courses while still in high school, graduated from the Theatre Department of Dokuz Eylül University in 2002 and went on to complete a master's degree at Bahçeşehir University. He first appeared on television presenting a children's program on TRT, worked as a dancer at the Istanbul City Theatre between 2002 and 2004, and joined Oyun Atölyesi in 2004.
He made his series debut in 2002 with Kuzenlerim and became known through series such as Avrupa Yakası, İki Aile, Yalan Dünya and Mutlu Ol Yeter. Between 2017 and 2021 he won great acclaim as Selim Koçovalı in the series Çukur, and in 2022 he played Oktay Uysal in Uysallar.
Erkan, who appeared in films such as Organize İşler, Kağıt, İtirazım Var, Ahlat Ağacı and Azizler, won the Golden Orange Best Actor Award for his performance in Bornova Bornova.
