Two Families (İki Aile) (translated)

İki Aile is a Turkish family comedy series produced by D Productions and broadcast on Star TV between 2006 and 2008, running for two seasons and ending with its 93rd episode. Directed by Metin Günay and written by Fethi Kantarcı, the show follows Kadir, a father who returns from years of working abroad with his three daughters hoping to settle back into his childhood home, and Arzu, a divorced mother searching for a small house to shelter her two children. Both families fall victim to the same con man and discover they have each bought the very same house, leaving them no choice but to share it under one roof. The forced cohabitation of these two very different households sparks conflicts and growing bonds that are by turns funny and moving. Emre Kınay and İclâl Aydın lead the cast, which also features Ayça Bingöl, Ceyhun Fersoy, Ümit Kantarcılar and Fulya Zenginer.
