Kürşat Alnıaçık — Biography

Born on December 7, 1962, in Ankara, Kürşat Alnıaçık is the son of theatre figure Raik Alnıaçık. He entered the Theatre Department of the Istanbul State Conservatory in 1981, finished in 1985, then went to England on a British scholarship, where he met Geyvan McMillen and trained in modern dance at the London Contemporary Dance School. Back in Turkey by 1986-87, he trained at the Bursa State Theatre, taught modern dance at Uludağ University and, for nine years, at the Eyüboğlu institutions, and joined Kent Oyuncuları as a guest performer in 2008-2009.

He appeared on screen as early as 1970 as Memet Emin in the film Umut, but found his breakthrough as Savaş Doğan in the 1998-2002 series Deli Yürek, the same year he played Ceyhun Emre in Sıcak Saatler. He went on to play Bakır in Sakarya Fırat (2009-2013), Murat Sarman in Kayıp (2013) and Turunç Nadir in Medcezir (2014). After playing Kudret Yıldırım in İsimsizler, Ural Bey in Diriliş Ertuğrul, Önder Sezin in Kara Sevda and Ziya Cevran in Nöbet, he played Servet in the Netflix series 50m2 (2021) and Tekin Giritli, nicknamed "Viking," in Yalnız Kurt (2022); he most recently played Yavuz Alptekin in Kör Nokta and is set to appear in Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı and Canvermezler.
