Ayça Bingöl — Biography
Turkish actress and voice performer Ayça Bingöl was born on 16 January 1975 in Istanbul. She earned her degree from the Theatre Department of Istanbul University State Conservatory in 1998, having already stepped onto a professional stage two years earlier, in 1996, with Dormen Theatre. Between 1998 and 2000 she made guest appearances at Tiyatro Fora, then joined the Yeditepe Oyuncuları ensemble; in the 2007-2008 season she took part in Duru Tiyatro's production of Bana Bir Picasso Gerek, followed the next season by Nehrin Solgun Yüzü.
Her screen debut came in 1993 with Süper Baba, and playing Cemile in Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki brought her a Golden Butterfly award in 2011. After parts in Benim Adım Gültepe, Babam ve Ailesi, Kardeş Çocukları and Kirli Sepeti, she played Nüzhet's mother in Kıskanmak in 2025, then took on the mother of the young man played by Akın Akınözü in Aşk ve Taht. On film she appeared in Tramvay, Benim Dünyam and Müslüm, and lent her voice to the Turkish dubs of the Yüzüklerin Efendisi and Buz Devri franchises.
Married to Ali Gökmen Altuğ, she has twin daughters, Aylin and Leyla.
