Necip Memili — Biography

Necip Memili was born on 27 May 1980 in Adana. He began performing on stage as an amateur at the Adana Seyhan Municipal Theatre in 1999 and graduated from the Theatre Department of the Çukurova University State Conservatory. He stepped into television with the series Beşinci Boyut and reached a wide audience in 2006 with Yaprak Dökümü, going on to appear in popular series such as Hanımın Çiftliği, Dila Hanım, Yalan Dünya, Ulan İstanbul, Bedel and Dolunay. He portrayed Evliya Çelebi in Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem, and his performance in Şahsiyet drew praise from critics. Between 2018 and 2021 he was remembered for the role of Cumali Koçovalı in the series Çukur, after which he appeared in productions such as Üç Kuruş, Sandık Kokusu and Darmaduman. Memili, who has also acted in the films Kaçma Birader, Karakomik Filmler and Aaahh Belinda, took on the character Gürdal in the series Eşref Rüya in 2025.
